Living Out Our Dream
My wife and I have always wanted to own our own sporting goods store. We are now getting to the point where we have the opportunity to do so. Our children are grown, we have the funds needed and we are ready for a big change in our lives. We have decided that we want to move somewhere different and own both a retail and a rental sporting goods store.
My wife has always wanted to live in a chalet in the Rocky Mountains and own a ski gear store and I have always wanted a cottage on a beach in Hawaii, making it a surf gear store. We are so at a point in our lives to make our dreams comes true and we are ready to make some major decisions. The hardest part will be telling our children of our plans and leaving the grandchildren behind.
But we need to do this because it was always our dreams and if we don’t do it now than we never will. The only thing that remains to be decided is whether it will be ski gear or surf gear.
