Protecting Myself From the West Nile Virus
As global warming has become more of a problem, so has the incidents of West Nile Virus. In fact, I don’t remember hearing about it up until a couple of years ago - those Mosquitoes didn’t come up this far north.
But the reality of it now is that we need to do what is needed to protect ourselves and our children. Just like putting on sun screen each time that we go outside, we need to use Mosquito repellent each time we go outside as well.
Up to this point, we have been using products that have had DEET in them. But from what I have read recently, DEET is not good for you or children.
So this year we are going to try a new type of repellent that isn’t full of all those harmful chemicals, but instead is made from natural ingredients. Hopefully, it will work as well as the reviews that I have read online because it will be better for us and our children.
