Funnies in the Classified Ads
I read the paper religiously every day. I like to read it cover to cover. I figure that if I am paying for a subscription than I should get my money’s worth out of it. My favorite parts are the comics and the Lifestyles section, but I really do like it all.
I even read through the classified ads. I find some very amusing things in there sometimes. Like the other day, I was reading through the help wanted section and I came across an ad looking for fire eaters, jugglers and breathers. I mean, do people who are looking for a job really read the paper and say, hey, I can do that!
I don’t think so. I laughed to myself and thought it would be even funnier if it had said “no experience necessary; will train.” I would be right on that. Not! I like to play with fire as much as the next guy, but as a career, I think I will stick to what I do best and in my job I can guarantee I will never have to put an open flame in my mouth.
