Getting Ready for the Party
I have to say that I love our staff social committee. They definitely make the difference of from job being boring and tedious by providing excellent events that help us relax and get to know each other outside of work.
For example, tonight we have a costume party at a local pub. We usually have events twice per month, and I try to make it to every one. Like I said, we are having a costume party, and I had to think really hard as to what I was going to wear.
After racking my brain for the longest time, I was able to come up with the great idea to rent a George Jetson costume. I loved the show as a kid, and I figured that I would be the only person that would show up with such a creative idea.
So, I should probably go and get ready - I know tonight is going to be a blast!
