Something Special for my Niece
There is just something special about becoming an uncle for the first time. You see, I have always wanted to be that special uncle - you know, the one that your niece and nephew think is the best. Now, I don’t mean that I want to spoil them by any means, but I want to be the one that they look forward to seeing each time you come over.
So, when my brother-in-law had his first child, I knew that it would be my opportunity to step up and get my new niece a special gift. Sure, I could have bought her something that everyone else bought like a sleeper, or a stuffed animal, but I wanted to get her something that expressed the way I felt, and would set me up to be her favorite.
I went online to search for unique baby gifts, and I was able to find something that would be perfect for her. I bought it, and when I gave it to her, I could see that they approved of my choice. Needless to say, I think I am on the road to being the best uncle she has - and that works for me.
